Influence of Sewage PH Value on Nonionic Polyacrylamide

1. Dosage control of non-ionic polyacrylamide in use

Each item has its own usage and dosage, and the same non-ionic polyacrylamide also has its own usage and dosage. When using non-ionic polyacrylamide, there are also strict requirements in terms of dosage due to its use or state. Therefore, it is necessary to control the amount when configuring or using it. No matter what kind of flocculant it is, it should be added in batches and cannot be used in combination, because if the dosage is too large at one time, coagulation will occur, which will greatly reduce the content of iron and aluminum, thereby greatly reducing the effect of flocculation. . Generally, the saturated concentration of polyaluminum chloride is 10-20%, and the suitable dosage is 120 ml/cubic. In this way, it can help flocculation and clarify the water quality. Generally, the addition of polyacrylamide can be determined according to the concentration and composition of the raw water.

2. Features of non-ionic polyacrylamide products

Nonionic polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer or polyelectrolyte. Because its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can form large flocs by adsorbing solid particles suspended in water, bridging between particles or through charge neutralization. Therefore, it can accelerate the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, and has the effect of accelerating the clarification of the solution and promoting filtration. Mainly used for flocculation and sedimentation of various industrial wastewater, sedimentation and clarification. Such as papermaking and pulp wastewater treatment, wastewater treatment in mineral processing and metal smelting processes, wastewater treatment in iron and steel plants and stone processing plants, etc. The characteristics of non-ionic polyacrylamide products are as follows:

(1) It has good water solubility and can be completely dissolved in cold water.

(2) Great flocculation effect can be obtained by adding a small amount of non-ionic polyacrylamide. Generally only need to add 0.01-10ppm (0.01-10g/m3), then it can fully play its role.

(3) Simultaneous use of non-ionic polyacrylamide and inorganic flocculants (polymeric ferric sulfate, polyaluminum chloride, iron salts, etc.) can show greater effects.

3. The effect of sewage pH value on non-ionic polyacrylamide

Non-ionic polyacrylamide substances are commonly used in sewage treatment, and non-ionic polyacrylamide also plays a huge role in sewage treatment, which can well treat sewage and purify water quality. Now many sewage treatment plants are using non-ionic polyacrylamide. In fact, the effect of non-ionic polyacrylamide in treating sewage and purifying water quality is not static. In fact, it is also determined according to the specific situation of sewage treatment. Among them, the PH value of the sewage has a relatively large influence on the effect of non-ionic polyacrylamide when treating sewage. If the sewage is difficult to carry out effective water treatment in the case of strong acid or strong alkali, we first test the water quality of the sewage before using it. If it is found to be strong acid or strong alkali, we'd better adjust the sewage to neutrality with a regulator before using non-ionic polyacrylamide.
