Nonionic Flocculants for Mining Process

SINOFLOC nonionic flocculants are high and very high molecular weight nonionic polyacrylamide polymers, in dry powder character. Our products have been specially designed for the flocculation the suspended solids in the water treatment of mining.

SINOFLOC nonionic polyacrylamide (PAM) is developed for the solid liquid separation in mining process to improve the performance of mineral processing and mine wastewater treatment systems. SINOFLOC 9010 and SINOFLOC 9010H have been successfully used in above applications and show excellent performance. They could also aid sedimentation in water clarification, to be used together with a coagulant for charge neutralization and give good cost efficiency. SINOFLOC nonionic polymers could be applied in following mining industries:

Application Tips:

The solutions of SINOFLOC nonionic polyacrylamide must be prepared in suitable plants equipped with dry powders feeding and dispersion units and with continuous and moderate agitation. The dissolution water must have a temperature included between 10°C and 40°C; For a correct use of SINOFLOC nonionic polyelectrolyte and in order to achieve the best possible results, it is necessary to allow a “maturation” time of 60 minutes. When treating turbid water, the flocculants solution must be added to the water in a point of average turbulence, in order to achieve a thorough and homogeneous mixing without impairing the flock formation. Recommend operating concentration is 3g/l, and the maximum operating concentration is 15g/l.
